Hospitality Recycling Workshop

June 4, Wednesday

2:00 - 4:30 PM

Albuquerque Marriott, 2101 Louisiana Blvd NE

Through this workshop, the New Mexico Recycling Coalition (NMRC) hopes to support Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico in becoming a “green” destination.  Recycling is one of the easiest things a hotel can do to become more environmentally friendly and a very few number of hotels and restaurants actually have a recycling or food scrap collection program.  We want to help change this.

The workshop will provide participants with in-depth information on recycling set-up at hotels and restaurants, food scrap collection for composting, recycling hauling, waste-audits, minimizing waste, pollution prevention tactics and recycling lessons learned.   This workshop is presented as part of the 2008 New Mexico Recycling Conference and the cost is $50 per person or two to four free workshop attendee registrations with a $150 or $300 NMRC membership*.

*NMRC Benefits include monthly e-newsletter, access to NMRC logo for your website stating "Member of the New Mexico Recycling Coalition", discounts to future trainings, and membership to the National Recycling Coalition (of which NMRC is affiliated).
